Job summary

Marden-based transport company is seeking an Office / System Administrator to support order entry and despatch operations. The role covers transport related administration, updating orders in the system, printing delivery notes and liaising with drivers and warehouse staff.

Hours are Monday to Friday with alternate Sundays; initial 2-month contract, permanent thereafter. Salary indicated as £26,246 per annum (full-time equivalent £30,108).

Responsibilities

• Transport related administration and order entry for customer transport orders.
• Create/print manifests and update orders in the transport system.
• Print delivery notes and reconcile paperwork with orders in the system.
• Ensure drivers have the required paperwork and liaise with warehouse staff.
• Handle telephone enquiries and update system changes as needed.
