Job summary

LTE Group's Novus brand in Redditch is seeking a Local Education Manager to lead our prison education team and drive educational excellence. This permanent, full-time post offers 37 hours per week with a competitive salary and pension scheme.

You will shape the educational vision, manage staff, and ensure high-quality learning for learners across the estate, working within HMP Hewell. The role requires teaching qualifications and strong leadership, with a supportive benefits package.

We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Hewell, working as a Local Education Manager. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

HMP Hewell is situated in Worcestershire, England, Hewell Prison is a Category B men’s prison serving the West Midlands area. HMP Hewell offers a range of training and development programs, including vocational workshops, educational courses, and initiatives focused on resettlement and family support

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
• Developing, leading and managing a team effectively
