Job summary

DPD is seeking a local route driver to own a designated area with around 40–50 stops daily, delivering parcels with top‑notch service. You’ll drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handhelds for tracking, and be the friendly face of the DPD experience in your community.

Autonomy, tech-savviness, and a proactive attitude are valued as you load/unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks, ensuring safe handling and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting involved in the job.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with safety and efficiency.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track progress and manage deliveries.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows/hand trucks.
• Provide a friendly, professional customer experience on each interaction.
