Job summary

DPD in the United Kingdom is seeking a local route driver to own a designated area, delivering parcels with care and service excellence. You'll manage around 40-50 stops a day, ensuring on-time deliveries and a great customer experience.

You'll drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handheld devices for tracking, load and unload parcels safely, and represent the DPD brand with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Experience: ideally 6 months driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional and approachable in fast-paced environments.
• Physically active with ability to lift and handle parcels.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle with safety and efficiency.
• Use Saturn handheld devices for tracking deliveries.
• Be the friendly face for customers during drop-offs.
• Load and unload parcels using sacks and hand trucks.
