Job summary

DPD is seeking a delivery driver to own a designated local route and ensure every parcel reaches its destination with excellent service.

You will drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes, using Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and stay ahead of your day. The role involves loading/unloading parcels with sack barrows, maintaining safety and customer focus throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Experience: ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Value: you are professional, approachable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, delivering to around 40–50 stops daily.
• Utilise Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and progress.
• Be the friendly face customers see during handoffs and interactions.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks, prioritising safety.
