Job summary

DPD is hiring a local route driver in the United Kingdom to own a designated daily run with around 40–50 stops. You’ll use Saturn handheld devices, load and unload parcels, and ensure safe, efficient deliveries while delivering a friendly customer experience.

Expect autonomy, a physical role, and a quick pace in a fast-moving environment. A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation are required, with recent driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideal to have 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically active and able to lift and load parcels.

Responsibilities

• Drive and own a designated local route with 40–50 stops daily.
• Load and unload parcels using equipment like sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Deliver parcels safely and professionally, providing great customer service.
• Operate Saturn handheld devices to track progress and manage deliveries.
