Job summary

DPD is seeking a delivery driver to own a designated local route, ensuring parcels reach customers with top-tier service. You will drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, manage roughly 25 stops a day, and be the friendly face of the DPD experience.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading parcels with equipment, using Saturn handheld devices for tracking, and delivering with professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence with DQC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months of recent driving experience in 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting.
• Value delivering quality service and treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with around 25 stops per day.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and stay efficient.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during drop-offs.
