Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking a delivery driver for a designated local route. You will operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, deliver 40–50 stops daily, and use Saturn handheld devices to track progress and manage deliveries.

We value autonomy, tech-savviness, and a professional, friendly approach. The role involves loading and unloading parcels with heavy lifting and following safety protocols on a fast-paced urban route.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and CPC/DQC accreditation.
• At least 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and customer-focused.
• Physically active and able to lift heavy parcels.
• Technically proficient with handheld delivery devices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels on designated local routes with 7.5 Tonne vehicle.
• Load/unload parcels using sacks and hand trucks safely.
• Navigate efficiently and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain safety and accuracy in daily delivery tasks.
