Job summary

DPD Group UK is looking for a local route driver to own a designated delivery area. You’ll handle 40–50 stops a day, ensure timely, friendly service and be the face of the DPD experience in your community.

Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handheld devices, and load/unload parcels with equipment. You’ll need a valid C1 licence with CPC, and ideally some recent driving experience in similar vehicles.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and able to lift heavy parcels.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with 40–50 stops per day.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to manage deliveries and tracking.
• Provide excellent customer service via face-to-face interactions.
