Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Load Bank Sales Engineer based in Enderby (Leicester) to join a professional technical sales team. The role focuses on developing customer relationships, handling technical enquiries and processing orders, and producing costed designs to drive profitable business.

Reporting to the CTO, the successful candidate will act as the interface between client, customer and a centralized Load Bank resource.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar sales role for load banks or related products such as diesel generators
• Solid understanding of electrical concepts (voltage, current, power) and ability to read and interpret technical data
• Excellent communication skills at all levels and customer-focused approach
• Knowledge of data centre sector or familiarity with large OEMs/contractors is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Process customer enquiries and interpret requirements to offer costed designs and solutions
• Produce timely quotations/tenders and follow up to secure orders
• Maintain expert knowledge of products and applications; provide pre-sales technical support
• Ensure orders are processed quickly and design/manufacturing data is passed to stakeholders
• Keep customers informed of order status and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain up-to-date records of enquiries, quotations, orders and customer activity in ERP
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK and overseas
