Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd on behalf of our client is seeking an Internal Sales and Applications Engineer based in Enderby, Leicester. You will act as front-line contact for customers, develop relationships, handle complex technical enquiries, and process orders.

The role requires at least 2 years in electrical or technical sales or applications engineering, with a background in MV/HV systems, batteries and generators advantageous; HNC level or above (or QBE) in

Qualifications

At least 2 years in an electrical or technical sales or applications engineering role.
Experience with large OEMs or international customers is desirable.
Qualified to HNC level or above (or QBE) in electrical/electronic/controls engineering.

Responsibilities

Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face; sometimes on-site visits.
Understand customer requirements and produce costed designs and quotes.
Produce timely quotations and follow up to secure orders.
Maintain product knowledge and provide pre-sales technical support.
Ensure smooth order processing and communication between customers and engineering teams.
Pursue new business opportunities and build relationships with customers.
