Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd represents a global leader in niche electrical solutions, recruiting an Applications Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer for their site near Leicester.

Based in Enderby, you will be the front-line contact for customers, translating requirements into costed designs and timely quotations while supporting pre-sales activities. The role requires 2+ years in electrical/technical sales or applications engineering and a strong engineering background.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in electrical/technical sales or applications engineering with OEMs or international customers.
• Qualified to HNC level or above (or QBE) in electrical/electronic/controls engineering; MV/HV knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process customer enquiries via telephone, email, and face to face; produce designs and costed solutions.
• Produce timely quotations and tenders; follow up to secure orders.
• Maintain product knowledge and provide pre-sales technical support to customers.
• Ensure orders are processed quickly with accurate handover to engineering/manufacturing.
