Job summary

The Investigo Group, a UK-based tech group, is seeking a Technical Systems Support Engineer in Liverpool on a hybrid basis. You’ll handle a range of applications, cloud services, identity platforms, and infrastructure, delivering proactive technical support with ownership and problem-solving.

You will work with experienced engineers, support enterprise systems, and participate in a paid on-call rota after probation, contributing to a resilient IT operations function.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in an IT support, technical support or service operations role.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID and on-premise Active Directory.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN technologies.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a primary point of contact for technical incidents and service requests.
• Investigating and troubleshooting technical issues across applications, endpoints, identity services, networks and supporting infrastructure.
• Taking ownership of incidents, using structured diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve underlying issues.
• Analysing logs, system events, monitoring tools and other diagnostic information to investigate technical problems.
• Communicating effectively with users and stakeholders, providing updates throughout the support process.
• Participating in a paid out-of-hours on-call support rota after probation.
