Job summary

The Investigo Group is hiring a Technical Systems Support Engineer to join our Service Operations team in a hybrid Liverpool-based role. You will handle incidents beyond a standard service desk, troubleshooting across apps, identities, and infrastructure while working with platform engineers.

Ideal candidates have strong IT support experience in Microsoft environments, with a curiosity-driven, methodical approach and the ability to own issues through resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in an IT support, technical support or service operations role.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for technical incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot issues across applications, endpoints, identity services, networks and supporting infrastructure.
• Take ownership of incidents, using structured diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve underlying issues.
• Analysing logs, system events, monitoring tools and other diagnostic information to investigate technical problems.
• Supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID and on-premise Active Directory environments.
• Investigating authentication, access management, permissions and connectivity issues.
• Participating in a paid out-of-hours on-call support rota, after probation.
