Job summary

Bluebird Care Pontypridd is seeking a dedicated Live-in Care Expert to support customers in their own homes. You will provide personal care, companionship and practical assistance, enabling independence and dignity while living with the client.

This full-time live-in role includes paid breaks, full induction, expert training and 24/7 support from our team. You will work on a rotating basis in customers' homes across Pontypridd while building trusting relationships.

Qualifications

• A kind and caring nature.
• Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts.
• Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies.
• Commit to training, professionalism and confidentiality.
• Have a Right to Work in the UK - not a sponsored role.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence.
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage their medication and prep their meals.
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones.
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance.
• Paid breaks and accommodation while on placement.
• Full induction and expert training, with continued learning and development.
• Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team.
