Job summary

Bluebird Care Oxford is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our Care Expert Team. You will support clients in their own homes, delivering personal care, meals, medication support and companionship with dignity.

We offer guaranteed hours, paid travel time and mileage, full induction and ongoing training, uniform and PPE, and a friendly team with 24/7 support and YuLife benefits.

Responsibilities

As aCare Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
• £13.84 to £20.76 per hour

Requirements

• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Must hold a full UK driving licence & Access to a vehicle for work purposes (Must be insured for business use)
• Must live locally to Oxford, South or West Oxfordshire
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
