Job summary

Bluebird Care East & Midlothian is seeking a dedicated Live-in Care Expert to support clients in their homes. You will provide tailored personal care, assist with daily activities, manage medications, and help maintain independence and dignity for clients.

Role offers a structured induction, ongoing training, and 24/7 team support. Flexibility with shifts is common, with accommodation provided during placement and excellent holiday entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medication and prepare meals.
• Perform household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support staying connected to the community through activities and visits from loved ones.
• Provide comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with the care team.

£952 per week / £136 per day

• 5.6 weeks holiday per annum
• Paid breaks and accommodation while on placement
• Full induction and expert training, with continued learning and development
• Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team
• Flexible working patterns (often 1-3 weeks on, followed by breaks)
