Job summary

MSL Global Ltd is seeking a Fleet Logistics Manager to oversee the maintenance, compliance and efficiency of our live-event fleet at the Alton site. You will coordinate drivers, fleet technicians and garages, ensuring safe, on-time transport for every event.

You will own budgets, plan vehicle needs around the event calendar and report on fleet performance to improve operations across the business. A Transport Manager CPC and O’Licence experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fleet, transport or logistics management role.
• A Transport Manager CPC and experience managing an Operator’s Licence (O’Licence) is essential.
• Strong relationship-building across departments and with drivers, garages, and clients.
• Ability to plan around event calendars and manage budgets.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for occasional early starts, evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Management: maintain, service and repair company and client vehicles and manage the in-house fleet technician and external garages.
• Vehicle Compliance & Insurance: ensure MOTs, inspections, tax, insurance and operator licence compliance with audit-ready records.
• Driver Management: oversee drivers, licence checks, training, conduct and working-time limits.
• Event Logistics: plan transport and budget for events, matching vehicles to briefs to deliver on time and within cost.
• Fleet Reporting: track KPIs including utilisation, downtime and spend, identify efficiencies.
