Job summary

Cast UK Limited in the North West region is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee a large, nationwide fleet in a 24/7 environment. You will take responsibility for fleet compliance, engineering standards and cost control across multiple sites.

You will lead and develop a team of engineering and fleet professionals, ensuring legal, safety and regulatory standards are met while driving improvements in maintenance processes and vehicle utilisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large fleet operations across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Background in engineering or HGV maintenance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a multi-site engineering and fleet team.
• Ensure full compliance with UK transport legislation and maintenance regulations.
• Oversee fleet performance, availability and utilisation.
• Manage budgets, supplier relationships and third-party contracts.

The Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing a large, nationally operating fleet within a 24/7 environment. The successful candidate will take full accountability for fleet compliance, engineering standards, operational performance and cost control across multiple locations.

You will lead and develop a team of engineering and fleet professionals, ensuring all legal, safety and regulatory standards are met, while driving continuous improvement across maintenance processes and vehicle utilisation.
