At MSL, we collaborate with leading global brands to design, build and deliver memorable live events, from exhibitions and trade shows to roadshows and product placements across the UK.
Behind every one of those events is our warehouse. As our Warehouse & Asset Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for every asset in it, knowing what we own, where it is, what condition it’s in and what it’s worth, for both MSL and our clients.
You’ll make sure all kit is stored safely, maintained and tested, sent out to events correctly and checked back in on return. You’ll run the Alton warehouse day to day, keep our asset records accurate and look for ways to improve how we track and store kit, with a small crew supporting you when events are being prepped.
This role suits someone organised and methodical who takes pride in a well-run warehouse and accurate records. In return, you’ll be part of a busy events business working with some of the biggest brands in the automotive world.
Key responsibilities
- Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all event kit for MSL and our clients, recording condition, damage, loss and repairs against each asset. Carry out regular stock checks and keep full cost oversight to support repair, replacement and purchasing decisions.
- Warehouse Management : Run the Alton warehouse, making the best use of space and keeping kit safely stored, easy to find and the site tidy and client-ready at all times. Carry out daily racking checks and ensure safe loading.
- Event Preparation: Own all kit going out to and returning from events, making sure every item is prepared, tested, working and safely loaded before it leaves, then checked, inspected and accounted for on its return, working across the teams to meet every preparation and loading deadline.
- Health & Safety: Ensure best practice and compliance in the warehouse, including forklift use, safe working practices and loading.
- Asset Reporting: Report on inventory accuracy, asset condition, damage and loss to the Head of Operations, provide asset value and cost data for budgeting and forecasting.
