Job summary

MSL Global Ltd is seeking a Resource Staffing Manager to lead the casual staff pool from forecasting through scheduling to timesheets and cost control. You will be the key link between project teams, logistics and warehouses to ensure the right crew are in place for every event.

The role requires strong organisational skills, experience in crew management and a hands-on approach to health & safety, with flexibility for evenings or weekends as events demand. Based at our Alton site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Highly organised with the ability to plan ahead and juggle multiple moving parts.
• Experience managing people and performance, setting clear expectations for crew and allocating work fairly.
• Confident communicator who collaborates across departments to place the right crew on the right tasks.
• Proven experience in resource planning, crew scheduling or workforce coordination in live events.
• Experience forecasting demand from a project pipeline and managing casual staff.
• Comfortable using workforce management software and spreadsheets to track utilisation and costs.
• Willing to work occasional evenings or weekends when events require it.
• Interest in events and experiential marketing, with a passion for the automotive sector is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Resource Forecasting & Capacity: Forecast crew needs, build a reliable pool of casual staff, maintain records and support recruitment.
• Crew Training & Compliance: Ensure crew are trained, compliant and up to date on health and safety.
• Resource Planning & Scheduling: Schedule crew for events using scheduling software and brief them.
• Hours & Timesheets: Manage crew hours, timesheets and expenses, ensure legal working-time limits and timely payments.
• Resource Reporting: Report on crew utilisation, capacity and costs to Head of Operations and suggest improvements.
