Job summary

Ticketmaster UK is hiring an Event Programmer to join the Event Programming team. The role involves setting up new events and offers by entering data into our bespoke Ticketmaster software, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

You will work across UK venues in London, Manchester or Glasgow and liaise with internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong data-entry skills, quick with new software, and a high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Computer literate with MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Proven experience of learning complex software packages.
• Experience in a data driven environment, with attention to detail.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment in a target driven role.
• Ticketmaster systems experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Utilise bespoke ticketing software to program a variety of ticketing work requests.
• Prepare, create, check and maintain simple to medium complexity events and offers ensuring all work is programmed accurately.
• Work on set ups for small/medium system venues.
• Liaise effectively with internal departments and external clients to meet client needs in a timely manner.
• Work within a team to ensure the Event Programming department maintains quality and consistency.
• Analyse and organise workload with strong attention to detail.
• Follow rigorous checking procedures and guidelines for events and offers.
• Become fully conversant with Event Programming processes and bespoke Ticketmaster software.
• Provide additional Event Programming or Client Services duties as required.
• Working flexible hours as required and in a time pressured environment.
• Provide tiered support to other departments at point of on sale.
• Anticipate problems within event building and plan contingencies.
