Job summary

Freemans-Event-Partners is seeking a Duty Manager for catering and bars across Greenfield events. You will lead frontline teams, ensure safe, compliant service, and drive guest satisfaction from build to breakdown.

This role requires strong leadership, experience at large venues and flexibility to travel nationwide. You will manage operations across multiple outlets, monitor service quality, and uphold food safety and licensing standards while delivering commercial targets and memorable guest

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing catering or bar operations.
• Experience within large-scale events, festivals or stadia.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for designated catering and bar operations during event delivery.
• Support the Event Manager in delivering all food and beverage operations.
• Ensure all outlets are fully operational before gates open and monitor service standards.
• Respond quickly to operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and support opening/closing procedures.
• Lead, motivate and develop Managers, Supervisors and casual staff.
• Deliver pre-shift briefings and manage staff welfare and performance issues.
• Champion exceptional guest service and manage queues and guest complaints.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, Challenge 25 and company policies.
• Monitor budgets, minimise waste, track stock, and report discrepancies.
• Act as the link between Event Management and operations; attend briefings.
