Job summary

Freemans-Event-Partners seeks a Duty Manager for catering and bar operations across national UK events. You will lead frontline teams, support unit managers, and ensure guests receive excellent service while upholding food safety, licensing compliance and operational standards from build to breakdown.

In a fast-paced live events setting you will make quick decisions, resolve issues, manage staffing and stock, and drive service quality and sales opportunities across multiple venues nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience managing catering or bar operations at large events.
• Proven track record in leading front-line teams.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety and licensing compliance.
• Willingness to travel nationwide across UK.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Strong organisational and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead catering and bar operations during event delivery.
• Support Event Manager to deliver F&B operations.
• Ensure outlets are ready before gates open.
• Monitor service standards throughout trading.
• Respond quickly to issues with effective solutions.
• Coordinate stock replenishment across the site.
• Lead, coach and develop casual staff.
• Maintain food safety and licensing compliance.
