Job summary

Freemans Event Partners seeks a Duty Manager for catering and bars across Greenfield events. You will lead front-line teams, support unit managers, and ensure top quality service with strict food safety and licensing compliance.

Based at various UK sites with nationwide travel, you will drive operational excellence from build to breakdown and resolve issues quickly to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing catering or bar operations at large events.
• Proven ability to lead front-line teams and manage diverse staff.
• Strong leadership and communication skills under pressure.
• Ability to travel nationwide and work across multiple venues.
• Knowledge of food safety, licensing and health & safety standards.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for designated catering and bar operations during event delivery.
• Support the Event Manager in delivering all food and beverage operations.
• Ensure all outlets are fully operational before gates open.
• Monitor service standards throughout trading.
• Respond quickly to operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Lead, motivate and support Managers, Supervisors and casual staff; deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Drive sales opportunities while maintaining high guest experience and safety standards.
