Job summary

Freemans Event Partners seeks a Duty Manager – Catering & Bars to oversee multiple catering and bar operations across Greenfield events at various UK sites with nationwide travel. You will lead front-line teams, support unit managers, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while upholding food safety, licensing compliance and operational excellence from build through breakdown.

Qualifications

• Experience managing catering or bar operations at large events.
• Experience in festivals, stadia or major live shows.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple outlets.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery across catering and bar outlets during events.
• Support Event Manager in delivering all F&B operations.
• Ensure outlets are fully operational before gates open.
• Monitor service standards and respond to issues.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and cash handling where required.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance throughout the event lifecycle.
• Deliver pre-shift briefings and manage staffing levels.
