Job summary

Coworth Park is seeking a House Porter to support the hotel’s housekeeping and guest services. You will delivery supplies across floors, assist with cleaning tasks, and help set up rooms for special guest requests to ensure the best possible experience.

Strong communication, a customer-service mindset, and fluency in English are essential. The role emphasizes inclusivity and career development within the Dorchester Collection family.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver housekeeping supplies to floors as directed by the floor supervisor and maintain housekeeping stores.
• Assist with spring cleaning duties, including hoovering, dusting, and cleaning edges and walls.
• Organise special room setups for guests’ requirements to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Show flexibility and creativity in handling guests’ requests and challenges throughout the day.

What you'll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• You will be responsible for delivering housekeeping supplies to the different floors as directed by the floor supervisor and ensure that all housekeeping stores are well maintained.
• You will assist with spring cleaning duties when needed, including hoovering and dusting corridors, carpet edges, dust tops of wall lights, mouldings and wash down walls
• You will also be required to organise special room set‑ups for special guests’ requirements, all to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You’ll also show flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests’ special requests and challenges that may arise during the day
