Job summary

Rolls-Royce Annesley Compressor Rotor Facility in Nottingham is seeking a Linear Friction Weld Manufacturing Engineer to support operations and develop, maintain, and improve the Linear Friction Welding process.

You will drive safety, quality and delivery targets, work across functions to reduce risk and enable Right First Time manufacturing, and ensure compliance with policies and export controls while developing new digital systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline (manufacturing, materials, mechanical).
• Previous welding experience is essential.
• Manufacturing Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and Zero Harm.
• Ensure processes meet design definitions and conform to specifications.
• Identify and develop opportunities for new/improved manufacturing processes and digital systems.
• Plan and manage activities, schedule, resources and costs, with stakeholder buy‑off.
