Job summary

Rolls-Royce in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Continuous Improvement Team Leader in Turbine Systems to inspire a team within the Precision Casting Facility. You will lead engineers, promote safety and Zero Harm culture, and drive cost reduction and yield improvement.

The role requires a professionally qualified engineer with experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or capability acquisition, and strong communication to influence across functions.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified engineer or equivalent with manufacturing experience.
• Strong track record in manufacturing including product introduction and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of engineers and manage multiple complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing engineering part owners responsible for production methods for turbine castings.
• Promote product safety and a zero-harm culture in production methods.
• Drive cost reduction and yield improvement across fleet parts within targets.
• Support delivery against the customer plan and resolve production issues with engineering support.
