Rolls-Royce Annesley Compressor Rotor Facility in Nottingham is seeking a Linear Friction Weld Manufacturing Engineer to support operations and develop, maintain, and improve the Linear Friction Welding process.
You will drive safety, quality and delivery targets, work across functions to reduce risk and enable Right First Time manufacturing, and ensure compliance with policies and export controls while developing new digital systems and processes.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Linear Friction Weld Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Annesley. Linear Friction Welding is a critical, special process that is key to the delivery of high value components across Civil and Defence Aerospace. As the Linear Friction Weld Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve the Linear Friction Welding process and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, deliver rate and leadtime (SQCD).
