Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a motivated commis to join our kitchen team. You’ll cook to recipe standards, assist in daily specials, and keep prep areas ready for service while upholding food safety and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in restaurant, hotel, pub or similar.
• Knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
• Willingness to complete training in food safety.

Responsibilities

• Cook and present dishes to recipe standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Support creation of daily specials to showcase skills.
• Keep prep areas stocked, clean, and ready during service.
• Follow food safety standards and help minimise waste.
• Work with team and Kitchen Manager to deliver excellent guest experiences.
