Job summary

Davies is seeking an experienced Limitation File Handler to join the Volume Motor Litigation Unit in Bolton. You will manage MOJ/OICP limitation cases for insurer clients as defendant, with full induction and ongoing supervision as required.

The role requires independent caseload management, ability to meet Court deadlines, and proactive communication with clients, counsel and third party insurers. Progression pathways are available within the unit.

Qualifications

• This role requires the ability to independently manage a caseload of MOJ and OICP limitation cases.
• Ability to plan workloads and meet court deadlines in a process-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independent management of a caseload of MOJ and OICP limitation, including workload planning to meet Court deadlines.
• Deliver performance targets and uphold quality standards.
• Analyse evidence to create initial case strategy on quantum.
• Negotiate with clients and insurers to pursue appropriate settlements and cost apportionment.
• Draft statements and Court documents, and liaise with Counsel.
• Maintain case management, billing and MIS records accurately.
