Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a proactive Lighting Solutions Manager to head up the Lighting Solutions Team, leading Lighting Designers and Business Development Managers to grow the lighting design business across the group.

This hands-on commercial role requires coaching, presenting technical solutions to customers and branches, and driving new project work while developing partnerships with key customers and suppliers. Regular travel to Birmingham and Bromsgrove offices is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a team of Lighting Designers and Lighting BDMs.
• Lead a team to target both new and existing customers to develop new Lighting Design projects.
• Lead a team that will present technical product solutions with clarity and confidence to customers, branches and internal stakeholders.
• Lead a team that will provide technical support and guidance to customers and branch colleagues.
• Communicate market trends, customer insights and opportunities back into the business. Identify and develop strategic partner customers by geography and market segment.
• Encourage and promote training and CPD to customers to strengthen relationships and product adoption
