Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a proactive Lighting & Renewables Solutions Manager to head up our Lighting Solutions Team. You will lead Lighting Designers and BDMs, steering the team to win new design projects and strengthen partnerships across branches and customers.

The role focuses on delivering technical product solutions, market insights, and coaching through CPD, shaping Rexel UK’s lighting business for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Lighting Industry.
• Aptitude for leading a developing a team into a market leading position.
• Confident to talk to customer partners about Rexels offer plan and value add services.
• Strong technical understanding of Lighting products and installation requirements.
• Proven experience developing a sales pipeline and achieving area sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a team of Lighting Designers and Lighting BDMs.
• Lead a team to target both new and existing customers to develop new Lighting Design projects.
• Lead a team that will present technical product solutions with clarity and confidence to customers, branches and internal stakeholders.
• Lead a team that will provide technical support and guidance to customers and branch colleagues.
• Communicate market trends, customer insights and opportunities back into the business. Identify and develop strategic partner customers by geography and market segment.
• Encourage and promote training and CPD to customers to strengthen relationships and product adoption.
