Job summary

Rexel UK Ltd. is seeking a proactive Lighting & Renewables Solutions Manager to head up the Lighting Solutions Team and drive growth across Birmingham and Bromsgrove offices.

You will lead Lighting Designers and Business Development Managers, shaping the strategy to win new and existing customers with compelling lighting design solutions, while providing technical support and guidance across the branch network.

• Strong technical understanding of lighting products and installation requirements.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Rexel UK are looking for a proactive experienced lighting professional to head up our Lighting Solutions Team.

This is a hands-on commercial role with real impact: you’ll develop and run a team of Lighting Designers and Business Development Managers with a remit to develop and grow this important business stream for Rexel UK.

Key Accountabilities

• Build and develop a team of Lighting Designers and Lighting BDM’s.
• Lead a team to target both new and existing customers to develop new Lighting Design projects.
• Lead a team that will present technical product solutions with clarity and confidence to customers, branches and internal stakeholders.
• Lead a team that will provide technical support and guidance to customers and branch colleagues.
• Communicate market trends, customer insights and opportunities back into the business. Identify and develop strategic partner customers by geography and market segment.
• Encourage and promote training and CPD to customers to strengthen relationships and product adoption.

• Proven experience developing a sales pipeline and achieving area sales targets.
• Commercially focused with experience of managing CPM and supplier relationships.
• Confident presenter and communicator with the ability to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work collaboratively with branch networks and cross-functional teams.
