Rexel UK is seeking a proactive Lighting & Renewables Solutions Manager to lead a team of Lighting Designers and Business Development Managers. The role focuses on growing lighting design projects and presenting technical solutions across branches and customers.

Regular travel to Birmingham and Bromsgrove offices is required. The position offers an opportunity to shape Rexel UK's Lighting Solutions business with a hands-on, commercial approach and a strong emphasis on collaboration across

Qualifications

• Experience in the Lighting Industry.
• Aptitude for leading and developing a team into a market leading position.
• Confident to talk to customer partners about Rexels offer plan and value add services.
• Strong technical understanding of Lighting products and installation requirements.
• Proven experience developing a sales pipeline and achieving area sales targets.
• Commercially focused with experience of managing CPM and supplier relationships.
• Confident presenter and communicator with the ability to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work collaboratively with branch networks and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a team of Lighting Designers and Lighting BDMs.
• Lead a team to target both new and existing customers to develop new Lighting Design projects.
• Lead a team that will present technical product solutions with clarity and confidence to customers, branches and internal stakeholders.
• Lead a team that will provide technical support and guidance to customers and branch colleagues.
• Communicate market trends, customer insights and opportunities back into the business. Identify and develop strategic partner customers by geography and market segment.
• Encourage and promote training and CPD to customers to strengthen relationships and product adoption.
