Job summary

Vivo Talent in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lighting Sales Engineer to cover Dorset and Hampshire. This field-based role combines remote work with on-site visits to hospitals, housing associations, and manufacturers, aiming to grow sales and partnerships with specifiers and end users.

You will build relationships, gather customer requirements, and work with the Regional Sales Manager to win specifications and deliver successful projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the lighting industry.
• Ability to engage with specifiers, lighting consultants, and end users, particularly in education and healthcare.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with a drive for success.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with clients to boost sales turnover.
• Gather insights into customer requirements and provide feedback to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Stay informed about competitors, new products, and pricing trends.
