Webber Hughes Ltd is recruiting for a Trade & Project Area Sales Manager - Lighting in the South East (Canterbury, Brighton, Bournemouth area). The role focuses on field sales, account development and a technical, project-focused approach within wholesale and pro lighting projects.

You will manage your own territory, build lasting relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors and specifiers, and drive opportunities from enquiry through to specification and winning new business.

Qualifications

• Experience in lighting project sales (wholesale or trade) is essential.
• Proactive and independent with strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and drive projects from enquiry to specification.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with electrical wholesalers, trade customers, contractors, architects and other industry contacts.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities across trade sales and project-led work.
• Visit sites to carry out surveys, assess requirements and collect information for lighting solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and project stakeholders to specify lighting products and prepare project proposals.
• Manage your diary, plan visits and maintain high activity across your territory.
• Work with the National Sales Manager and internal teams to develop opportunities and achieve sales targets.
