Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting an Internal Sales Representative - Lighting for Beaumont Leys, Leicester office. The role focuses on converting enquiries into orders, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the external sales team.

You will respond to enquiries by phone, email and online channels; provide product information, pricing, and availability; prepare quotations; process orders; and keep CRM records up to date. Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, full-time, permanent.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in sales, customer service, internal sales or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels.
• Provide product information, pricing and availability.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations.
• Follow up quotations to maximise opportunities and secure orders.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Book supplier deliveries into the ERP system and coordinate with logistics.
• Maintain CRM records and sales activity data.
• Support external sales team with reporting and administration.
