Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Lift & Crane Engineer Surveyor to inspect lifts, cranes, and related equipment across customer sites within a nationwide network. You will work independently, manage your inspection schedule, and provide guidance to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role involves working across industrial, commercial, and construction environments with ongoing training and a comprehensive induction program.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in a mechanical engineering-related discipline.
• Practical engineering experience with lifts, cranes, materials handling equipment, lifting equipment or similar mechanical plant.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, servicing, manufacturing, installation, testing or inspection environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory inspections of lifts, cranes, lifting equipment and related plant across customer sites.
• Work independently across allocated area and manage inspection schedule.
• Provide expert guidance to support safe and compliant operations.
