Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking an experienced Engineer Surveyor to join its Engineering Inspection Services. You will conduct inspections of various plant and equipment including lifts and cranes while being part of a training program.

This role requires a solid background in the Lift and Crane discipline and comes with a competitive starting salary of £45,539 per annum with benefits including bonus and remote working options.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules for the Lift and Crane discipline.
• Background in working with lifts, cranes, material handling equipment, and hands-on experience in manufacturing, repair or maintenance.
• Excellent time management skills to self-organise work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on inspections of plant and equipment such as lifts, cranes, and construction plants.
• Prepare electronic examination reports for efficient delivery to clients.
• Work closely with your Engineer Surveyor Team led by a Senior Operations Team Leader.

Skills

Knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules for the Lift and Crane discipline

Strong customer interaction skills

Ability to make well-informed decisions

Effective planning skills

Education

NVQ Level 3 or above in a mechanical related subject
