Job summary

Allianz Engineering Inspection Services is seeking a Lift & Crane Engineer Surveyor to conduct statutory inspections across client sites in a nationwide network. You will apply engineering expertise to ensure safe, compliant operations while managing your own schedule and building customer relationships.

The role supports ongoing development and includes access to training and an induction programme. A UK driving licence and experience with lifting equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in a mechanical engineering-related discipline.
• Experience with lifts, cranes, materials handling equipment, lifting equipment or similar mechanical plant.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory inspections of lifts, cranes, lifting equipment and related plant across customer sites.
• Build strong customer relationships and manage your inspection schedule.
• Work independently with support from fellow engineers and team leaders; engage in ongoing technical development.
