Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring a Lifeguard to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming pool facilities. You will supervise swimmers, assist customers, and deliver excellent service across our facilities. Training will be provided for the NPLQ qualification, and you will join a committed team across England.

The role emphasises inclusivity, safety, and high-quality customer experiences, with 40 hours per week on a rota basis at our centres. A passion for leisure and working with diverse communities is key.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification required (training provided).
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of customer service and ensure a friendly environment.
• Maintain clean, safe and well-supervised leisure facilities.
• Support pool safety and supervise swimmers as required.
