Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming pool facilities across our centres. You will supervise swimmers, respond to incidents, and promote a positive customer experience with a friendly approach.

The role is ideal for individuals who value teamwork, flexibility in shifts, and a commitment to health and wellbeing. Training is provided to support career development within our charitable leisure trust.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Flexible and adaptable to shift patterns and varying workloads.
• Knowledge of water safety and duty of care expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifeguard supervision to ensure safe, clean and welcoming facilities.
• Assist pool users and respond to emergencies following procedure.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and promote a positive atmosphere across the centre.
