Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure high-quality, friendly, clean and safe facilities for our customers. You will support and promote a welcoming environment across over 130 centres across England and Wales.

Applicants should be able to swim competently and complete a swim test during interview, with training and development provided. Sunday shifts on a 6.25-hour rota, with a comprehensive staff benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer; swim test may be required during interview.
• Enhanced DBS check will be carried out.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities with well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented and able to work across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to follow managerial instructions.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service for customers by maintaining friendly, clean and safe facilities.
• Support ongoing operations with a focus on customer experience and safety.
