Job summary

Freedom Leisure is recruiting Lifeguards to support our 130+ centres across England and Wales. You’ll help keep pools safe, while delivering friendly, welcoming experiences to customers and communities.

Full training is provided. The role requires an NPLQ qualification, Enhanced DBS, and First Aid at Work. 37 hours weekly on a rota basis, with a values-driven, inclusive workplace and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• First Aid at Work.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented approach across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to follow instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lifeguard and ensure safety of pool users.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support across facilities.
• Work 37 hours per week on a rota basis.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create welcoming environments.
