Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard in Worcester to help keep our pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe and welcoming. This bank/part-time role offers an hourly rate of £12.84 and requires NPLQ or equivalent with ongoing training records.

You will join a team dedicated to great customer care and a safe environment for all members and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Ability to provide training records.
• Strong customer care mindset and team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool area to ensure safety across wet side facilities.
• Stay attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond immediately to any incidents and follow Pool Safety Guidelines.
• Assist with general pool safety and equipment checks.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
