Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard for Norbury FWC to monitor the pool, spa, sauna and steam room, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for members. This bank/part-time role offers the chance to work ad-hoc hours with the flexibility to fit around your availability.

Applicants should hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or an equivalent qualification and provide training records. You will be part of a team that values safety, great customer care, and ongoing learning.

• Strong customer care mindset and ability to work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep members safe and healthy in wet-side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using the facilities.
• Respond to incidents promptly and follow Pool Safety Guidelines.

£13.35 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) orequivalentand you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using ourwet sidefacilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure PoolSafetyGuidelines arefollowed at all times
