Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a qualified Lifeguard for ad-hoc bank shifts at our facilities. The role focuses on safety around the pool and wet-side areas, with emphasis on customer care and a professional environment.

You will work on a bank basis, not a fixed-hours contract, and must hold an NPLQ or equivalent with training records available. A proactive, team-oriented approach and a passion for member wellbeing are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Be able to provide ongoing training records.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Passionate about great customer care and a real team player.

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
