Job summary

Nuffield Health is recruiting a Lifeguard for our Farnborough FWC on a bank, part-time basis. You will help keep members safe in the pool and wet-side facilities, provide excellent customer care and support a positive, professional environment.

You will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and be happy to train and keep up-to-date records. The role offers flexible hours to fit availability.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe in the pool and wet-side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
